Veils.
The most fragile of all walls,
and the most improbable to break
through.
Rather,
they have to be lifted,
all too slowly,
all too
gradually.
Only through the powers of persuasion can a new vision be introduced.
Year after year.
Decade after decade.
It takes a long time
for those who have been so
willingly blind,
to learn how to see again.
Oh, yes.
It will take me a long time, indeed,
to learn how
to live again.
